CREOLE ENGLISH AND FRENCH

There are two official Creole languages. These are the Grenadian Creole English and Grenadian Creole French. But the official language spoken in Grenada is English. It is used for business, commerce and industrial purposes. In some areas, French-African patois also is spoken by 10-20% of the population but nowadays, it is only spoken by small pockets of society.Creoles have a variety of languages. However, it is also influenced by French.The indigenous languages were Ineri and karina.
